This is a nasty bug, as far as I can tell everyone is getting it and it is a waiting game until it decides to leave your body. I feel a bit better but tire so quick. Never had one like this, usually I can still do normal life activities but this cold zaps every bit of energy from you.
I did get most of one design posted yesterday so I only have 1 and 1/2 butterflies to list. Getting there!
Today I have a pop art design to showcase
Manta Ray Pop Art
This is a vintage image inspired original composition. Love it and it has sold on a few products!
This cold came on fast and hard. I didn't think I was going to be able to breathe much longer. Feeling better today so I will try and finish my butterflies. Already sold some of the butterfly designs! Excited!!!
Today I have a bunny to showcase!
Vintage Rabbit Print
This is a very nice vintage print, just worked on color corrections and some repair. I added a coordinating background and voila!
I did not get all the vintage butterflies posted and won't by the end of the day. I have three and half to go yet. With the storms yesterday and losing power and biting off more then I can chew, I didn't make it. That is ok, I will get them all in over the weekend so I can put some original designs up! I also saw more products that are new so I may need to spend some time to get my images up on those products as well.
Today I have a Mushrooms!
This is an original painting inspired by a vintage image. Bright and fun!
I am trying to get back to the "shape" I was before my surgeries and strengthen my back since it was so weakened during that time. I have about 10 pounds to go and they will not GO. Stuck at the exact same weight to the 10th of a pound for over a month. All I want is to fit in the clothes I have comfortably so even it I don't lose the whole 10 pounds being able to pull on my pants and zip them up easily would be perfect. I know it is easy to put on weight and hard to take off but COME ON. I am trying to be realistic on workouts, adding more strength training to build muscle, eating healthy and making this a lifestyle change not a diet. I know I can do it.
Today I have a design that is something I see every Thursday and Friday!
This is a little vintage design I pepped up with color. Every week on garbage day the crows come and visit the neighborhood and make a mess. Naughty birds!
7 butterflies posted and only 6 more to go! I just might make it this week! I already started some other designs just to change the view for a bit. Let's see if I can do it and get 13 butterflies by Friday!
Today I have a cute bunny to show!
Vintage Rabbit Art
This needed quite a bit of repair and color correction, I added a nice background and I think I like it!
Yesterday I said I would get all 13 butterfly prints up this week. Well it is taking longer than I thought because of my OCD in putting them on products. I tweak, resize, move and change it on every product just to make sure it looks right because even on two phone covers the image could look off on one but perfect on the other. I will try and meet my goal...try.
Today is Primary Day! Out to vote, it is also the 12th payment on my car so one year down and 4 to go!
Got 13 vintage butterfly images enhanced, fixed and readied for upload this weekend. And my plan for the week to get all 13 uploaded and ready for sale. Takes awhile because I am very picky on how each image looks on each product. It has to look perfect before I move to the next.
Today I have an antique drill turned into art!
Antique Drill Painting
Turned an image to a painting, great for a workshop!
December 20th 2013 was my last post. I was in so much pain from my first surgery, ended up having a second surgery which helped a great deal, no more pain. I could not function before, the pain just didn't stop and heaven forbid if I bent down for something cause I could not get back up. I have been recovering but still doing artwork. I couldn't until the second surgery because sitting for more than 2 minutes was unbearable, laying down was unbearable. I hope to get a few posts a week and then be back to my normal routine!
