Brr, it is cold outside...Tea is a must!

I love tea! English Breakfast is my favorite with Irish Breakfast in a very close second, of course oolong, Earl Grey, Prince of Whales, etc. So I am a tea girl, green, black, red you name it! I love having a variety and a day like today (3 degrees outside at 8am) I will definitely be having quite a few cups. Since I will most likely, if I don't talk myself out of it, have to venture outside to the store.

I have been busy, a bit. Working on developing some new skills with software I have. Creating art, even digitally, gives me some strength inside, which I do lack at times. A purpose in that I can create something unique, a piece of me.

Shabby Rose and GO 49ers!

Football, artwork and chilly weather. Goes so well together! I am a Vikings fan, but since they did not make it far in the playoffs I am going with the 49ers and did they give me a scare yesterday! Biting my nails, hiding my eyes and pacing the floor but, but, they did it! 49ers are going to the Superbowl! Yippee!
Then came the 2nd game....Ravens and Patriots....YEAH RAVENS, they won!!! I think it should be a very interesting Superbowl and will root for the 49ers but do like the Ravens too, for Ray Lewis...his last game.

Valentine Gifts and Ovaltine

Ovaltine is not gluten free...sadly. I loved plain chocolate Ovaltine. Pre Celiac days that is. I was thinking about how I enjoyed it, sprinkling it on vanilla ice cream and checked out the ingredients....Barley Malt....sigh. Not gluten free and they used shared equipment for their production so that ends Ovaltine for me. I never liked "malt" flavors, never liked the smell or taste of beer and not a big pasta fan. That should have been a clue that gluten was a problem. My body was telling me there was a problem but my head stayed clueless.

I thought this bag turned out sweet. Cute for Valentine's day. A red Dahlia to brighten your day! So many new products have been added to Zazzle to place artwork on that I have to go back to some of my older uploads and add them to the new items. I think it is fun, especially to see the previews and how wonderful the designs look.

Gluten, Sugar and Designs

I have to eat gluten free, my son was on a gluten free diet since noticing some signs when he was an infant but to determine if he is truely celiac I had to start gluten in his diet. It has been almost 2 months and he has been fine, great and no problem. Me, well forgetting that his plate has wheat crumbs on it and eating his carrots, licking your fingers after making a sandwich...shouldn't do that anyways....has left me all upside down and in such a brain fog. Then there is sugar....a tiny bit and I am fine but add a "normal" amount and I have muscle pain and muscle cramps like no end. I say this after having some chocolate candy. Shame on me!

Vintage Purple Motorcycle
I hope the work I have done on one motorcycle print has worked out. I uploaded it but to me nothing is ever done, at least art wise. I always find something I could have improved or done a bit different. It is hard to finally say something is finished.

This is the motorcycle print on a laptop skin. The image was offset badly when printed and blurry as anything. I did both hand and digital restoration on it. I think it would be nice as a gift for someone. I still have to make it into a poster. I think when I have a bunch ready I will purchase the series and hang them in my son's room.

Still here...

I am still working on designs, holidays sort of took over for a bit. Haven't stopped working on more designs, repairing old images, most by hand because of the damage to them. I did some good sales the past few weeks. Hope it keeps up. I created a fan page on Facebook here. Not sure how to market my stuff but that is something I am learning right now. Here are some new designs!

Halloween

So I am working with both computers again, using my netbook as a desktop from now on, don't want to risk and trouble by replacing screen. Ok, done some Halloween designs, should have started earlier but better late than never!

Dropped my computer

So, yes, dropped my netbook which is my lifeline and cracked, smashed, obliterated the screen. Lucky me it was just the screen and right now is hooked to my monitor for my artwork desktop. I need my netbook everyday and ordered a kvm switch so I can use both computers with my one monitor so will have new stuff soon.
