No School again.

This fast moving clipper left 4" of snow so far and still snowing!  1 to 3 inches was the prediction. Looks like a major storm for Sunday night and Monday morning. I'm really sick but got to get the snow shoveled. Have a great weekend and enjoy the Super Bowl. My team did not make it in so I'm really watching for the commercials. I hope we miss this big storm monday. I guess will wait and see.

Don't like being sick.

Sorry no post yesterday, was really sick.  Hoping it goes fast.  Tired of being sick every other week. 
I do have the finished pictures of the bathroom!  Hopefully I will be back in action soon.

So far delayed start for school

See if they close today. I am sick. I now have my sons cold again. I'm tired of being sick. If school doesn't close then he will only have less than 2 hours of school today. That would be good for him to start going back. He's been out of school so long with this cold. I am going to try and get the final pictures of the bathroom so I can post tomorrow. That depends on how much I can move. I hate being sick.

No School Snow Storm

Well, there is no school today. My son is still sick so I wasn't going to send him. I am sick now. So this is very fun. We probably won't have school tomorrow since the most of the storm is to come tonight. I think I'm making chicken soup. And maybe try to get some sleep I haven't slept for a few days. If my post seems weird it's because I am so very tired, though I have to be up enough to shovel the snow. More snow later this week. Phew, exhausted!

Mom on Duty

My son went downhill fast. He has an upper respiratory infection. He is home for the rest of the week. Going to pick up his homework and keep him comfortable while he recovers. He is exhausted. So am I. Will post Monday.  Have a great weekend!

So far behind!!! *(UPDATED)

***EDIT: I just wrote the post below about 30 minutes ago and now that my son woke up he is really, really sick so dentist is out, doctor is in and I will be taking care of him today. Poor guy.  It is so hard to keep him free of colds now that he started school. ***

I am behind all goals I set forth this New Year's.  I haven't been able to walk outside because of the weather, I have not posted anything to Zazzle and only got one item ready to post.  Got to get a move on!

My son's cough has dramatically decreased since yesterday so he is fine for cleaning at dentist today.  I am worried that some of his new teeth may not come in right because they are coming up and the baby teeth are still solid in place.  We will find out today what needs to be done.

So dentist is on tap today, hopefully won't be too long so he can catch the bus.

My order should arrive today for the final bathroom decor items and I will have pictures up as soon as I can.  I am so excited, a little over two months ago that room was an unfinished, just studs, storage area and now it is a peaceful, tranquil bathroom.

I have a sneak peek of the jellyfish!  Will have the full design showcased when posted up for sale.

It will have a cool background but you have to wait to see that!

Sick number 2?

My son is coughing again.  Sounds like congestion is coming back.  Will see how he does through the morning, maybe off to doctors and rescheduling dentist tomorrow. I hope he is just having the tail end of the past cold.  He deserves a break before getting sick again.  And so do I, sure I will get it next! 

I am waiting for one more package to arrive to finish the decor of the bathroom off.  Should come today!  I will then take the final pictures so you can see the finished room.

I finished the jellyfish design and will try and post today, depending on my son and how he feels.  Got to get some new stuff to show off!

No School

My son does not have school today and he has made plans with me. He is under the weather so he wants to watch movies and stay in pajamas. I hope he is not getting another cold. Rest and good food for him today. Mom on duty!

Not quite up to speed yet.

I am still catching up to feeling normal.  I hope to be rid of this cough soon.  It is annoying.  Working on the jelly fish and still not quite up to what I want yet.  That brain fog makes it difficult to pull out my ideas.  Also with my eyes seeing a little double doesn't help.  Next week I should get the new contacts!!!! I can not wait to see what the difference will be!  I won't be able to do too much on my artwork today, volunteering at school later.  Exciting to see my son during his class time.

I got some artwork and wall decor for the new bathroom.  One set I liked but the other doesn't quite work but that set will work in another room.  I have found some other wall decor that I want to get to finish the room off.  I have the next set of pictures to show.  The final set will be when I get the art up, and that will be whenever the deliver arrives!  Have a Great Weekend!!!

Brain fog...

This flu is still bugging me!  I have such brain fog.  I am working on one design, not liking it yet. It is coming along though.  I sure hope my new contacts will help me out with working on the computer.  My eyes just get so tired and weepy.  I shall see next week when they come in. I am going to throw them on and give them a whirl.  Better than struggling I hope!

I have no showcase yet until I get some artwork together.  I do have more bathroom pictures though!  Getting to the end, don't know how we lived with out it for so long. What fun it was!  I loved doing it.

New Year!

Finally a "real" post.  Well sort of!  When I said I still had some pain from my eye tests yesterday I hadn't really looked in the mirror...wow my one eye is all bloodshot! That is why it hurts.  Since the stroke I had seem to have affected my eyes, missing some vision, I get extra long check ups.  All is good so I am happy.

Really couldn't do too much on Zazzle with my eye still hurting.  I know I have more motorcycles to post but want to do something new just to start the year off.  My eye still is bothering me but I did get some ideas together yesterday to work on today.  I found a vintage print of a jellyfish I want to tackle first.

I do have the tiling of the new bathroom floor pictures to post.

Good news!

I was so afraid my eyesight was really going.  I have been having trouble reading and working on the computer for even short periods were hurting my eyes.  Well it turns out that my eyes have improved and my current prescription is too strong!  In a week I will have my new contacts and I should see a dramatic improvement.  I know I did in the Dr's office!  I thought I needed reading glasses but I really needed a weaker prescription!  I am still having a bit of a headache from the tests.  I do have some errands this morning but hopefully can get back in Zazzle this afternoon.  About time I say!  Tomorrow I will post more of the bathroom pictures.  I have some final touches being delivered today to really finish the room off so it was good being sick for a while, well maybe not being sick.  Now I can have a complete and final picture at the end!

I forgot

I have an eye appointment this morning. In an hour! I never added the appointment to my calender. Luckily they send a reminder call. Of course it snowed and may sleet. Have to go to make sure my eyes are okay since I have existing troubles. At least I am posting again! Feeling better, not completely but much improved.  Be back tomorrow!

Still Recovering

Feeling better day by day. I still can't work on the computer because of my headache. I wouldn't be able to do artwork, can't focus. Just have to wait until the symptoms go away,  which may be quite awhile as I have been told.
I am going to sign off until Monday and start my normal posting then. Have a great weekend and stay well.

Flu is terrible

Still sick. Getting a bit better. No new artwork to show. Hopefully later this week. Too much of a headache to post bathroom pictures. Will do that soon!

Not a very Happy New Year Either..

Flu, we all have the flu.  We all have flu shots.  Guess the flu shot doesn't work this year. Yuck, yuck, yuck.  We really didn't have a Christmas or a New Year with all of us so sick.  Maybe we can have a celebration when we feel better.  Will keep you posted!
